Cantorion Cantabile - Eisteddfod Y Garreg Glas 2026

What an amazing experience! Our ambition to compete at the prestigious National Eisteddfod on its return to Pembrokeshire was realised when our application to enter the New Choir category was accepted. After much planning, careful selection of 2 welsh pieces and pronunciation tuition from our welsh-speaking super-alto Bev Humphreys, our talented Musical Director Luke Spencer trained us to our highest standard yet. We competed against 13 other choirs, most of them welsh speaking, and all of them so much bigger than us. The overall standard was incredible, and although we weren't placed we did ourselves proud and won encouraging feedback from the adjudicators.

We had a fantastic day, and we are eager for more. Maybe you'll see us on S4C again next year - Bev is on the case!
